Teen Attacked, Sexually Assaulted In Upscale Salisbury Neighborhood

SALISBURY, N.C. -- A Salisbury teenager is recovering after she sustained injuries during a sexual assault Tuesday night.
Police said she was walking down Maxwell Street in Salisbury’s upscale Country Club neighborhood when she suddenly came face to face with a stranger. The man jumped out of the woods, grabbed the 18-year-old and dragged her behind the trees.
"He's a black man around 30 years old"
