View Full Version : X-Files 2
Don't waste your money. It would have been good if it were just another episode but it was a stand alone, pointless waste of time and money.
I'll watch reruns, thank you.

I love the x-files tv shows and own all nine season..I will get it on dvd..one day...to bad it sucked..
It would not have sucked if it were just an episode in a season. There was no reason to make this movie. If they would have made it part of the whole story that would have been great. It was just like some lost episode or something.
Mulder looked like a caveman. Blaaahhh

I saw it also and, yes, it would make a fine episode of the original X-Files series — I can even imagine it being one of the great episodes, if only because it finally takes Mulder & Scully where we always wanted to see them...in an intimate relationship. It's the very personal interaction between the two that is the draw for this film, rather than the goofy Dr. Frankenstein menace.
But something puzzles me... Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are now living together, sleeping together, yet in the privacy of their own bedroom they still call each other by their last names?
That's odd.

Aryangirl is right, this would have been ok if it was just another episode. Hell, I have seen some x file episodes that blew this movie away. It's too bad because given the wide range of subject matter they covered in the series, you would have thought they could have come up with something better. It wasn't a horrible movie but it wasn't good. Might be a good one to rent though. On a positive note, Gillian looks really good in this movie.
After seeing the first X files movie again, I almost forgot how good it was.

Yeah, it's a long TV episode. If they keep this up, they'll have to run straight to video like Land Before Time.
I'd rather see Chris Carter to a remake of HR Puffnstuff.

As long as the next one, if there is one, is in 2012, where the supposed end of the world or whatever is going to be. I hate a dangling plotline.
