why the 1992 riots were not such a bad thing

These riots over the rodney king beating case, caused a lot of property looted, & destroyed. Some 40+ people nation wide were killed, many hundreds beaten.Now why would I say,it wasnt all that bad of a thing? Simple. because unless most whites see such shit first hand, they just cant believe it of the blacks. Even after days of rioting happened, how many whites would you hear say" I understand their rage"?Rodney king was a bezerker on drugs, attacking the cops.He had superhuman strength,and it took everything they had to take him down. I lived in L.A. during the riots, i had just got home from trade school when Florence and Normandy blew up in TNB. My father and neighbors made sure everybody in our complex was armed and had each others phone number.
