This character was created,42 years ago by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby, for FF#52. He was the first black superhero.Over the past 35 years, he's had four series. Now, the concept thats behind this character,is that his section of Africa, was never colonized by the white man, and thus, was able to achive it's "full "potentual, and became the most advanced technology on earth, because they had the bulk of the rare metal"vibranium" worth trillions. Anyway, in real life,If,and ONLY if Rhodisia or South Africa was left alone, would ANY nation of Africa had achived high greatness. If never colonized, they'ed all still be living in mud huts, killing and eating one another. The book, has never had a 100th issue, togather, adding them up, marvel had put out around 175 or so issues with the character. The books concept appeals greatly to blacks who'd like to believe that the reason why they never achived greatness, was because whitey colonized them.Oh they have pushed the character hard over the years, along with stories ripping on white people, and white south africa.
I always dismissed this comic as nigger loving bullshit. A liberal thread runs through many Marvel comics and mainstream comics in general. Got to start brainwashing those kids young, you know.

The Black Panther had bullshit powers, but at least it allowed Stan Lee to keep his other comics nigger free. Now, they are substituting niggers for his White characters in the movies (Kingpin, Nick Fury, Alicia Masters, etc.) and this pisses me off.
And the extensive coal-burning in the new Spiderman cartoon? Arghhh!

I really don't mind if they have their own nigger comics, hell, more power to them. What bugs the shit out of me is when they hijack our white pop culture because they can't come up with their own, and if they do, nobody buys it.
Christ Almighty, when I was a kid, Green Lantern was pretty cool, and he probably sold pretty well. Now I find out they changed him to a Goddamn nigger. What the fuck is up with that? Can anybody explain why this happens? Can anybody tell me if anybody even buys the nigger Green Lantern comics or did the series die?

DC Comics was taking shit from the activists because their comics didn't offer enough nigger representation among the DC stable of superheroes. The fucking niggers didn't want a new nigger superhero, they wanted an existing DC superhero with a loyal following.
That was a problem. You couldn't just turn Superman into a nigger, even with Red Kryptonite, and Batman couldn't be a nigger because Bruce Wayne represented the wealthy white establishment.
The reason Green Lantern was chosen was because Green Lantern was a position, not an individual — the Green Lanterns, of course, are an interplanetary "police agency" with a single representative on each member planet. So, there are alien Green Lanterns out there in space, just as there was a human Green Lantern on Earth for decades. All DC Comics had to do was give the Green Lantern position to a fucking nigger, and that silenced the activists.
I think DC made the decision to shitcan Green Lantern because he wasn't a first-tier superhero like Batman and Superman. I mean, for many decades Superman was money in the bank for DC Comics (think about the licensing for all the Superman shit on the market worldwide). Batman started raking in the big money, also, although not on the same level as Superman.
So why wasn't Green Lantern considered first-tier? Because Green Lantern could kill Superman really easily. The Green Lantern's Ring could synthesize any kind of energy, right, and they demonstrated this back in the 1960s, I believe, when the Ring generated a fucking Green Kryptonite Ray that fucked Superman all up. For me, as a kid, it was obvious that Green Lantern was more super than Superman, although I don't think DC comics intended to send that message, and thereafter GL was kind of placed on the back burner where he was no competition for Superman.

Yeah, the Green Lantern's ring is only as powerful as the imagination of the individual who possesses it. Hal Jordan was considered a dull character, so while he had mastery of it, he wasn't very creative. In a recent issue of "All Star Batman and Robin", Batman describes Hall as being as having the imagination of a potato.
What I don't get is that there is supposed to be ONE Green Lantern per sector of the universe. Hal was OUR GL. But then they brought in the nigger. Then they brought in Guy Gardner. So now there are, like, 50 GL's in our sector of the universe. And don't even get me started about Alan Scott and the Earth-2 characters.
Green Lantern/Green Arrow was a very influential comic in that it was the first superhero comic to deal with social and political issues. GL was a conservative, while Green Arrow was a liberal, and even though they were supposed to be working together, their political views created tensions. No wonder they brought a groid in.
As for Black Panther, I always ignored him. He was just a second tier character much like Iron Fist and the other super-nigger Luke Cage. The thing that pisses me off the most, though, is that they had him marry Storm from the X-Men. So now I gotta deal with this cat-nigger in my X-Men books, which happen to be my favorite books. Blah.

Last time I checked, Hal Jordan (the original Silver Age DC character) had a big comeback as Green Lantern, and it was a big deal in the fanboy world, but that was a few years back, and I haven't kept up.
Figures they'd bring the token boon "hero" back in time for this election year.
Guess the jig hocked the Power Ring back from that niggertown pawn shop and is out to save the universe again. jrk

I was a comic-book nerd in my youth, along with my nerd friends,
and we always made fun of the shitty nigger-heroes like Luke
Cage, Black Panther, Falcon, etc. These were the comic-book
equivalent of AA, as they were stubbornly put in several comics
even though none of them had any fans.
Anyway, to address the question of whether a nigger nation
would've prospered if it had never been colonized: Ethiopia
was never under colonial rule, except for a brief period in
the late 1930's after Italy invaded it. Liberia was also never
colonized by non niggers, just by freed American slaves.
It was never under domination by a foreign power.
So how did Ethiopia and Liberia turn out?

On Justice League and Justice League Unlimited on Cartoon Network a few years ago, the regular Green Lantern was a black ex-marine named John Stewart. Some other Green Lanterns of various races and from different parts of the universe showed up in a few episodes also.

I remember reading somewhere that the show's writers wanted to have a more diverse cast and it would have been a lot harder to make Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman a different race because so many people are already familiar with those characters and they have a certain expectation about how they should look. Also, instead of making Hawkman a regular character, they replaced him with Hawkgirl so that there would be more women.

Niggers can't afford comic books, and they can't read anyways so the editors are obviously not trying to market to nigs. Therefore the makers of this garbage must be doing it for another reason....to brainwash human children. This sickens me.

Green Lantern was and always will be a WHITE man, not a nigger. The only way this nigger got to be one is, it was looting the dead body of his stuff as he lied there.
