CAIRNS has become one of Queensland's most dangerous cities for women, with a rate of rapes in the region more than double the state average.

Just one sexual assault counsellor and four part-time forensic nurses in Cairns case-manage an average of one new rape victim every week.

Cairns has about 100,000 people total. I dont know if it is 5% or 20% abo but they are the ones who are involved in aggravated gang rapes on tourists and even on a few male tourists.

Like in Canada the big city of Brisbane has the low rate of rape because the native abos are mostly in the smaller cities where the high rate of rape is.
