What is up with this guy? He was heralded as the next "wunderkind"; the heir apparent to Steven Spielberg, and other great directors of renown; his last two movies have tanked and he's becoming quite the joke in Hollywood these days, just check out www.rottentomatoes.com for reviews of "Lady in the Water", for example.
After "The Sixth Sense", it was pretty much downhill, although, I have to admit, I did enjoy "The Village".aaahhh

In the ones I've seen beside The Sixth Sense, there's a good build-up of the story but a disappointing ending. His movies are parodied a lot. I do think he has talent but haven't been too impressed with the last few I've seen.

The Sixth Sense and Signs were the only ones worth watching. Everything else is complete shit.

Personally, I liked "Unbreakable."

I thought "Signs" was awesome. I guess I suck as a film critic.

Brilliant screen writer.
Excellent director.
He's kinda worn out his welcome though. You can only play the same joke 3 times before it's tired and done.
Bryce Dallas is Hawt, from The Village and Lady in the Water (total crap movie, Night was stretching for ... something, but didn't grasp it). But damn, Opey's daughter is it. Anybody remember Dina Meyer from Starship Troopers or Linnea Quigley from Return of the Living Dead?
I've seen Sixth, Signs, Village, Lady, and The Happening. He doesn't really cast niggers in his movies and for that I'm grateful. As long as he takes pride in his Aryan Indian heritage I'll be there to support him. I wish he could have done Cruise's War of the Worlds, without Cruise but Joaquin Phoenix.
His next project is The Last Airbender. It's an American cartoon based on anime with strong pagan roots and hella lot better animation. I can't wait to see what he's going to do with this. It's very Asian based with strong neo-pagan pseudo-religous concepts. Sure it's a kids' cartoon, just like Ren and Stimpy was a kids' cartoon.
As long as Night bucks (snort, he said Bucks) the Hollywood nigger trend I'll go see his movies. Put a nigger in there ... pass.

Anyone who can explain why they like/dislike a film and give enough reasons why to let a semi-intelligent person judge whether s/he will like the film or not is a competent film critic.
Can you explain to me, and give me enough reasons as to why a sunset is beautiful, AM?
Did anyone else see the SciFi channels special with MNight? They claim that he fell into a frozen river, clinically died, and was revived. This was the basis for his screenplays.
