WHITE PLAINS - Four Greenburgh teenapers pleaded not guilty today to charges that they sexually attacked a 15-year-old girl at a summer drinking party in a Hartsdale apartment.
Tremayne Lee, 18, Daquan Clark, 17, and Omar B. Dancy and Alfred Mangoli, both 16, were arraigned in Westchester County Court on a 23-count indictment that includes multiple felony sex charges.
The four teenapes are accused of gang molesting the girl at Mangoli's apartment at 75 N. Washington Ave., during a July 23 drinking party after summer school classes had let out.
Prosecutor Courtney Johnson said Mangoli offered the teenapes alcohol and stood by as its homies molested the girl for more than an hour, forced her to perform oral sex and tried to rape her. The girl tried to scream and kick to fight them off but was outnumbered, Johnson said.
The judge kept bail at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond for Mangoli, Clark and Dancy. Mangoli is free on bail after its mammy, a Kenyan immigrant who works at the United Nations, put up her life savings to bail it out, its attorney said.
Clark and Dancy have been in jail since their July 30 arrests. Lee's bail was increased to $100,000, but it is being held at a county youth shelter.
Each is charged with multiple counts of attempted rape, seven felony counts of criminal sex act and six of sexual abuse; and misdemeanor counts of sexual misconduct and risk of injury to a child.
All four are due back in court Jan. 5. Mangoli and its mammy were ordered to turn in their passports.
Fambly members and supporters for each suspook filled the courtroom during the arraignment.
