Okay, first coontact post. This happened to me today. It actually happens to me 4-5 times a week and is a good example of how niggers are driving up the cost of healthcare in the US (I can't speak for the rest of the world, but I'm fairly sure other countries have this problem as well).
My partner and I are parked in the 7-11 lot enjoying a breakfast of champions (Big Gulp, Slim Jims, and Skoal) when dispatch interupts the peace. Female, shortness of breath, experiencing chest pains, history of heart related illness. I spit my dip out, crank the engine and we take off at full speed with lights and sirens.
On scene there's one she-boon with 4 Niglets standing outside a rundown duplex, two brokedown POS junkers in the driveway. We jump out, grab the bags, looking very Third Watch-esque, and run up to the She-Boon. "Where's the patient?" My partner, senior medic veteran-of-the streets asks.
She-boon looks disintrestedly at one of the niglets. "He right here" My partner and I look at each other, knowing what the situation is, but bound by regulations that demand the tired ritual. I radio dispatch for a confirmation of the address and emergency while my partner starts in on her.
"What's the problem"
:bbl "He out his azmah med'sin"
"Did you tell 911 that your were having chest pains"
:bbl "So?"
"Why didn't you tell them the truth?"
:bbl "Cuz I ain't got time to be waitin' on yo ass all damn day. I gots shit ta do. You here, you gots ta take meh"
Unfortunatly, she's right. Law says if she wants to go, we have to facilitate. So we load her and the niglets into the bus and take off, sans lights and sirens. You're probably wondering why I don't chew her out. Tell her that she took us off the streets, away from someone who may really need our help. That we're not her damn taxi service. But this is the 100th identical call for me, and the 10,000th for my partner. We're tired of repeating ourselves, and the simple fact is she doesn't care. She's not paying for it anyway. Medicaid is. Taxpayers. You and Me.
So basically, what would have been a $40 cab ride has turned into a $900 ambulance trip. By the way, we had to stay at the hospital for an hour so that we could drive her home. Funny how Michael Moore neglected to mention that in "Sicko"
