Recall a 1940 or so era film I seen 15 or so years back.It's about a young white country lad,who's mom is killed by a hit and run driver. He goes forth to the big city to live with his small time gangster uncle who drags him into his life of crime. Anyway, the lad is in the hall of his uncles apartment building, he's bafflied at what door to turn to,so,he says"Ennie minnie, minney mooe, catch a nigger by the toe" Now this was on a weak signel station,but STILL reguler tv! It floored me to hear it,in this day and age!Any one got an idea what title this film is?
