Old honest Abe, knew one thing above all else, when it came to the thing called war.It is of the UTMOST importance,to gain the moral high ground! To that end,The south HAD to be manuvered into firing the first shot! This was done, with Fort Sumptner,I believe. If name spelled wrong,to tired to go check out proper spelling.Anyway,We were very lucky, back in 1969,not to have had such a moral high ground incident happen, at the hands of the 20th century John Brown, charlie manson. The absolute worst thing, that can happen, is for some pinhead like him, to hand the moral high ground on a silver platter,to the so called civil rights movement! We dont need to be manipulative like Lincoln was, we have to practice GREAT restrant, and yes, it's going to get harder and harder.

Interesting that you compare John Brown to Charles Manson; from what I know of Manson, which isn't much, other than having read "Helter Skelter"; he wasn't exactly their most ardent supporter (niggers, that is). John Brown, on the other hand was a virulent abolitionist (forget what state he was from, but I know he died at Harper's Ferry, Virginia). I think I understand your basic premise, though.
BTW, Lincoln hated niggers

Lincoln was a nigger loving faggot. I hate it when people pull out these quotes about shipping the apes back. It was just rhetoric this fucking lying nigger lover used in order to quell whites fears about what he was doing enough to get their votes. This fucking dictator rigged the election in 1864, by manning Union troops at the polling stations to make sure people voted the way they were supposed to (even pulling troops out of combat and sending them back north to watcht he polls). This fucking nigger lover is the real reason America has been destroyed from within by this BLACK PLAGUE.
Also, this nigger loving faggot is widely rumored to have been a GAY HOMO for sharing a bed with another man for many years and for the icy relations with his 'wife'.

Here's another of this nigger loving faggot dicatator's lies on his Inauguration Day:
I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.

By the way, here's an interesting site on politically incorrect Lincoln Quotes:

I have always heard that Lincoln actually hated niggers and wanted them shipped back, too.
Glad to hear the truth.

As notorious as the Democrat political machines are, the origins of vote fraud in America lie in the Party of Lincoln. The massive vote fraud that took place during the War between the States and for the ensuing twelve years of "Reconstruction" provides an abject lesson in tyranny that has ominous implications for American taxpayers.
During the War between the States Lincoln was known to instruct his military commanders to furlough registered Republicans while keeping Democrats (and any others) in the field, where they could not vote. In border states like Maryland, where there was powerful opposition to the war, federal soldiers flooded the cities on election days and were instructed to vote, even though they were not residents of those states.
Federal soldiers also intimidated voters into voting Republican by menacing them at the polls. As Lincoln biographer David Donald has written, "Under the protection of Federal bayonets, New York went Republican by seven thousand votes" in 1864.
The Republican Congress even created three new states -- Kansas, West Virginia, and Nevada -- to help rig the 1864 election in favor of Lincoln, so concerned were they over pervasive antiwar sentiment and massive desertions from the federal army.

Lincoln condemned slavery and privately made plans to colinize the niggers back in Africa. Publicly, his 1860 campagin platform only pledged to hold slaveries further spread. In private he said, "if I can keep the nation together by freeing the slaves, I would do that, and if I could keep it together by keeping them slaves, I would do that also."
Lincoln has been smothered in all these stories about his compassion that people forget what a highly intellegent man he was and almost everything he did was calculated for effect. He believed that the African could never function in society in an equal capacity with whites. To say that he was a homosexual, well I don't know if he was or not. We may never know the truth about that.
Lincoln's goal, number 1 on his list, was to keep the union intact. If you keep this in mind, it will explain alot of things.

agree to disagree Black Plague - even the niggers think he hated them. I won't argue about his homosexuality as I've no clue about that.
While it is true that Lincoln regarded slavery as an evil and harmful institution, it also true that he shared the conviction of most Americans of his time, and of many prominent statesmen before and after him - that nogs could not be assimilated into white society. He rejected the notion of social equality of the races, and held to the view that negros should be resettled abroad. As President, he supported projects to remove negros from the United States.
"If all earthly power were given me," said Lincoln in a speech delivered in Peoria, Illinois, on October 16, 1854, "I should not know what to do, as to the existing institution [of slavery]. My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land." After acknowledging that this plan's "sudden execution is impossible," he asked whether freed blacks should be made "politically and socially our equals?" "My own feelings will not admit of this," he said, "and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not ... We can not, then, make them equals."
One of Lincoln's most representative public statements on the question of racial relations was given in a speech at Springfield, Illinois, on June 26, 1857. In this address, he explained why he opposed the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which would have admitted Kansas into the Union as a slave state:
There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races ... A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas ...
***so, he was against the movement westward because he didn't want niggers moving west & being a burden upon white progress and possible mixture - sounds reasonable - could've been politically motivated but still reasonable.
Racial separation, Lincoln went on to say, "must be effected by colonization" of the country's blacks to a foreign land. "The enterprise is a difficult one," he acknowledged, but "where there is a will there is a way," and what colonization needs most is a hearty will. Will springs from the two elements of moral sense and self-interest. Let us be brought to believe it is morally right, and, at the same time, favorable to, or, at least, not against, our interest, to transfer the African to his native clime, and we shall find a way to do it, however great the task may be.
Lincoln's ideological mentor was Henry Clay, the eminent American scholar and statesman. Because of his skill in the US Senate and House of Representatives, Clay won national acclaim as the "Great Compromiser" and the "Great Pacificator." A slave owner who had humane regard for blacks, he was prominent in the campaign to resettle free blacks outside of the United States, and served as president of the American Colonization Society. Lincoln joined Clay's embryonic Whig party during the 1830s. In an address given in 1858, Lincoln described Clay as "my beau ideal of a statesman, the man for whom I fought all of my humble life."
The depth of Lincoln's devotion to Clay and his ideals was expressed in a moving eulogy delivered in July 1852 in Springfield, Illinois. After praising Clay's lifelong devotion to the cause of black resettlement, Lincoln quoted approvingly from a speech given by Clay in 1827: "There is a moral fitness in the idea of returning to Africa her children," adding that if Africa offered no refuge, blacks could be sent to another tropical land. Lincoln concluded:
"If as the friends of colonization hope, the present and coming generations of our countrymen shall by any means succeed in freeing our land from the dangerous presence of slavery, and, at the same time, in restoring a captive people to their long-lost fatherland, with bright prospects for the future, and this too, so gradually, that neither races nor individuals shall have suffered by the change, it will indeed be a glorious consummation."
His opposition to slavery was equally based on what he feared was its economic dangers just as much on moral principle. As his contemporaries accurately noted, Lincoln the "Great Emancipator" was never an abolitionist. Even after the Emancipation Proclamation, he was willing to tolerate slaveholding in nonsecessionist states. His ultimate solution--one that infuriated abolitionists such as Horace Greeley--was to colonize American nogs "back" to Africa or the Caribbean. Until his death, he denied that free jigs could be assimilated into the US population. His solution was to 'return' all jigs, even native-born ones, to their 'homeland' of west Africa, or exile them to the Caribbean or Central America. Lincoln opposed allowing nogs in Illinois to vote, hold office or intermarry with whites, and that he never called for repeal of the state's draconian "Black Laws", which severely restricted the rights of their population. Far from being the willing forefather of today's multicultural America, Lincoln advocated reserving the west of the country for whites, supported a law forbidding niggers to settle in his home state of Illinois and was fond of racist jokes. He used two State of the Union addresses to call for the deportation of nogs and shortly before his assassination in 1865 said of the thousands of slaves to be freed at the end of the Civil War: "I believe it would be better to export them all to some fertile country with a good climate which they could have to themselves."
He also habitually used the word "nigger" to describe them.
**Lincoln did blame nogs for the Civil War, declaring: "But for your race among us there could not be a war, although many men on either side do not care for you one way or another."
Although in popular history he is given the credit for the Emancipation Proclamation - which itself did not directly call for the elimination of slavery - he only issued it under pressure from other Republicans in Congress. However, Lincoln was seized upon by progressive Americans following his assassination, which came soon after the Confederate surrender.
By the late Sixties Lincoln's death was put in the same bracket by civil rights campaigners as the assassinations of JFK & MLK.
***Personally I think Lincoln was against slavery on principle but saw the nigger as incompatible w/modern civilization. That's also pretty much how I see myself. Heck, he'd prolly fit right in on this website - as none of us here are advocating slavery or the open killing of nogs - we just want them to get the fuck out of the country. Fact - Lincoln was advocating sending niggers back to afreeka a full 8 years before the CW.

Concur Dirty Dan - that's my observation as well. I don't think he gave two shits about the nog...his wife was the daughter of a wealthy slave owner...I think he was going to do whatever it took to keep the union together.
