I used to be a big fan of the show. i have a rag tag collection of taped episodes form cable, VHS tapes bought from stores and a couple of DVD's.
A very funny show. I think it lasted 7 or 8 seasons until it appeared to be canceled.

At one time they tried to make an american pilot movie but it must have really sucked because it has never been shown to my knowledge.

Back in the mid to late 1990's they were supposed to make a bigscreen movie in which the Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten were supposed to get back to earth and that Jackie Chan was supposed to be the bad guy but it never happened.
