The greatest writer,of the entire 20th century.NOBODY could write, like he wrote!. Check out the film,"The whole wide world" taken directly from the book" One who walked alone" A man as flawed,as he was gifted. The white race, needs to re connect whith the savagry he wrote about. He was a man, a century ahead of his time.He was not politicly correct.
One of my favorites. Sax Rohmer is also worth a read, especially the "Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser" stories.

Haven't read much of Howard's stuff other than the Conan books when I was a kid. I do have one of his short stories, "Worms of the Earth," in one of my anthologies. Probably the best Lovecraft pastiche ever written, save "Strange Eons" perhaps. I've never read Howard's short story "Pigeons from Hell," but the adaptation for Boris Karloff's "Thriller" is probably the scariest show ever broadcast on tv. Pirate used to have a torrent--worth checking out.
