If you havent watched the movies. If you dont like reading the plot before you watch dont look at this thread.
I just got finished watching the whole resident evil movie trilogy this morning. Lazy sundays hm? Well, first off i love zombies zombie movies and anything having to do with zombies. But somehow the resident evil trilogy really dissapoints me. First off. alice a never existing annoying overpowered character. In the first one it really wasnt that bad, to be honest. Because they gave her some remnant of a feminine side. As the alice personality evolved into round 2. Somehow halfway into the movie i swore she had a set of balls under that mini skirt of hers. Total personality change. And somehow from number 1 to number 2. the relevant important things taken from number 1 were now totally pointless in every way possible. as the story progressed you just lose yourself in the complete lack of plot, Oh my god its nemesis. Tard walking ensues. Oh my god its umbrella. Lets just get alice with her muscle mass the size of an etheopian reject to somehow manhandle an 8 foot tall monster to save the day. And Oh look, the monster that wants everyone dead wants to save her at the most convienient time! Moving onto number 3, Total irrelevance to any video game whatsoever. The only similarity is claire redfield, Can you honestly have strayed any farther from the game than a complete utter apocalypse? I mean, overall if you want to comment on it. Number 3 sucks and should never have been made that way, period.
Moving onto my other point. The zombies. Number one hit it right on the head. perfectly executed, I was actually frightened by these zombies. Number two made them look rubbery, but still somewhat scary. The need to change the zombies shouldve been a null issue. And by number 3 the zombies were so rubbery it was like watching the origional king kong, Youd need to beat me with a frying pan and threaten to take my life to make me scared while that movie was running.
Ultimately after playing the video games for so many years then watching the films its a complete disaster and i cant beleive they went the direction that they went, If your an avid fan never ever watch resident evil 3, Its terrible. and itl leave you thinking " What the FUCK!? " for up to 6 hours.
But on the BRIGHT side. Their getting it right on the game front. take a look
