An NAACP leader, who saw her husband killed decades ago for his civil rights work, said Tuesday that presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife, Michele, are undergoing "political lynching" in the media.


She said the attacks are serious enough to use the term lynching, even though that usually refers to racially-motivated killings.


Evers-Williams said she knows what Michele Obama meant, adding that were only three times that she felt deeply patriotic, though she loves her country
