A small review of the new Batman movie, sort of.

"The film starts about where "Batman Begins" (2005) left off. Rich playboy Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) still stalks the night as Batman, hunting down criminals. The CEO of Wayne Enterprises, Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), continues to invent cool toys for him to use. His ex-girlfriend, Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), is a crusading assistant district attorney. Her new boyfriend is district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart)."

I saw it. I'm a Heath Ledger fan because of A Knights Tale, The Patriot, and The Lords of Dogtown. I even watched almost half of bareback mountain just because. Good acting but damn, that was nasty.

Ledger as The Joker plays Al Pacino in Scarface playing Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner. Christian Bale plays Dirty Harry meets the original 60s Batman - sucks, completely. He's so totally TV Batman, you want to laugh or snigger when he's on his lines. Um, dude, that was Clint Eastwood, that's like trying to pull off John Wayne's Rooster Cogburn, give it up fancy-pants, you can't do it.

Heath Ledger as a character actor ranks up there with Pacino, DeNiro, and Brando. Except all those other guys like ... lived. I went into this movie totally not believing the hype of Ledger's performance. The dude delivers. He makes the movie. Michael Keaton made a better Batman than Bale that's how bad he is. When it comes to the movie's plot, Batman is the deus ex machina.

Christian Bale rocked in Reign of Fire but was totally overshadowed by Mathew McConaughey, and I never saw his first Batman: Batman Begins, so you guys can argue his Batman roles.

Oscar nomination for Ledger? Yeah. Absolutely. Heath gets a "special" award of some sort or at least a retrospective at the Oscars in 2009.

Morgan Freeman is just the HNIC, he doesn't invent any of that shit, he just delegates it to R&D.

Heath Ledger was fucking awesome! The best acting in an action movie in ages, if not ever.

Christian Bale did suck.

This movie is easily as good or better than the 1st two spiderman movies.
