Only in limp wristed, merlot swilling, dinner party hosting Seattle Libtown could this be treated respectfully and given front page.

Yesler Terrace, a nigger project (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008056145_yesler17m.html)

Yes, someone wants to make these stories into a book because Humanity is just dying to hear the stories of poor niggers and the poor liberals who love them.

Meanwhile, across the valley of Rainer (Yesler Terrace sits at the north end of the Rainer valley) we have this refreshing view on interracial relationships these days in Seattle.
Nigger turns self in, feels bad about killing a human (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008056239_trafficcircle17m.html)

I lived in Seattle for 5 years.

I can only remeber one coontact. Fought a nigger and his wigger friend over a traffic dispute.

Your average Seattle-ite is totally ignorant of niggers.

Tacoma on the other hand knows the nigger beast well....

And the Chief of Police was happy that a warm and fuzzy feeling descended over everyone present:

""What I liked about the whole thing is everyone felt OK. It was true collaboration at its best," said Hayes, who also was there when Brown was arrested."

What the fuck? What I like best about it is that the murderous, cowardly little bastard is in jail. Everyone felt OK? Who gives a damn? He's a criminal. Arrest his ass. Period. Did anybody think to say a word about how OK the poor guy who was murdered felt when this nigger dashed his brains out against the curb? Where are the words of praise for the victim for trying to make life in his neighborhood just a little better? Instead, the article tells all about how the nigger felt, and how it affected him, and how his conscience made him turn himself in. Are we fucking nuts?

By simply visiting each other's dinner tables -- and being open to new experiences -- the two learned more about the value of diversity than they could have in any lecture or conference.

Stories like that delight Jean Harris. They reaffirm her effort to collect and preserve oral histories from her fellow "alumni" of Yesler Terrace, the first racially integrated public-housing project in America. She plans to publish her collection in a book she'll call "From the Terrace."

Lovely, I'm sure. However Harris fails to answer the most important question: what were they doing in Yesler Terrace to keep the TNB to tolerable levels? Inquiring minds want to know.

On the other hand, I suspect that she's trying to put one over.

I see one, maybe two, niglets in that pic. Looks like Yesler Terrace was majority human during the very times Harris is describing. No wonder it was nice.

Ranier Beach is (from my observation) about 40% Asian (mostly FOB SE Asians) 40% nigger, and 20% white. Probaly 1/3 to 1/2 of the niggers are Somali or Ethiopian Islamo-niggers who do not consume alcohol and are significantly smaller and more intelligent than the West African variety that makes up most of nigger America.

It's pretty decent as niggerhoods go.

I've driven down MLK at night there with my windows down and metal turned up on the radio.

There are plenty of niggerhoods in Tacoma that I'd prefer not to drive through in the day with my doors locked.
