This too is an oldie but a goodie. This novel tells the story of the American Revolution from the Loyalist or Tory perspective. Eloquently written, it is fodder for the imagination. There is even a vivid description of tarring and feathering.

I have to believe that there were a great many people who were loyal to the crown and who felt that it was wrong to take up arms against the King. Not much in the literature though about this, at least from what I'm aware of.
