3 cold rape cases solved but police fear there are more victims

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A convicted sex offender who police say is connected to three sexual assaults is behind bars. Louisville Metro Police say the attacks happened over the past ten years and they were able to find the suspect thanks to DNA.
The arrest is also a result of a cold case grant from the National Institute of Justice. LMPD has money to pay for detectives to comb through old cases. Now that there is a suspect behind bars, detectives are hoping other victims will come forward.
"I am asking the public if you recognize this subject as a person that sexually assaulted you. Possibly after you accepted a ride from him, please come forward," said Major Joe Richardson.
LMPD wants the public to get a good look at 52-year-old Robert Allen Edmonds picture. Police believe he attacked three women in Louisville, possibly more.
