Turdler Critical, Parents Injured In Philly Wreck

GERMANTOWN (CBS 3) ―

According to police a family rushing their child to the hospital were all ejected from the vehicle in a serious accident in the Germantown (Coontown) section of Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.

The 11-month-old baby boy and his mother and father were all hospitalized after the accident. All 3 victims were reportedly not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The accident was reported at Chew Avenue and Washington Lane at about 2:30 p.m.

The mother has been identified as Kimberly Jefferson, and is now listed in stable condition. Authorities say that William Bailey, the father, was also thrown from the car and is said to be doing well. The 11-month-old baby, Azaiye Bailey, remains in critical condition.
