Does anyone know if there are any new additions to the Mayfair Witches saga?

I absolutely loved "The Witching Hour", and "Lasher". I want to say the third addition in that series is "Taltos" or something like that, which I haven't gobbled up yet. I personallly think it's far superior to the vampire chronicles.

Taltos is great, Skillet. Unfortunately, Anne Rice has renounced all of her earlier works and is now devoting herself to Christian writings, at least that's the last I heard. I've read all of her books and like the Mayfair Witch trilogy the best. Blackwood Farm overlaps them a bit too.-cheers

What????? Anne Rice, really? Actually, now that I think about it, she did write a novel about Jesus, I believe. I can't believe she renounced the Vampire Chronicles though....I wonder what kind of epiphany she had.......hm

I enjoyed the Vampire Chronicles, Vampire Lestat was particularly good but I can't think why she has renounced them.

If you've read all her works you'll notice that they really start to go downhill after Memnoch the Devil. Actually, Memnoch sucked too. It really makes me sad, as I read and enjoyed everything she'd written before that.

"The Mummy" was great too; I agree, she's starting to fall the way of Stephen King I think, all that creativity may be used up, unfortunately.

I've never read The Mummy but I've heard good things about it. My favorite Anne Rice book is actually Servant of the Bones. Her descriptions of Babylon in it are extremely vivid - it makes me feel like I'm really there.

My favorite by her will always be "Interview With The Vampire". I read it way before the movie came out, though the movie wasn't bad. Brad Pitt was so hot as "Louie"!!! "Armand" was hot too. Too bad Pitt started adopting niglets. Hadn't heard about Ms. Rice giving up on the supernatural subjects.

Christopher Walken would have made an excellent Lestat.

didn't she also write something about the Italian Castratos?
