I assume many of you are familiar with his work. That guy was incredible. I think he was another Hunter Thompson, in my small opinion. His writing on his alcohol addiction was so..... authentic, I think is the perfect word. Hell, I can relate! After my AA meeting this afternoon, my first in 10 years, I am going to stop by Barnes and Noble and pick up some of his works. Check it out. You'll like him!

I recommend you pick up 'Women', 'Factotum' and 'Ham On Rye' to get started with.

And good luck with quitting booze, my friend. I'm trying to do it on my own at the moment..

Got to admit I haven't read him but I intend to. I dug "Barfly", I felt like I had a hangover just watching it. :lol
