Bread Delivery Man Shot in Arm

A 51-year-old bread company delivery driver was shot in the arm early Tuesday morning during a struggle outside his truck.
New Castle Police said an unknown man approached the Stroehmann Bread company driver on Parkway Circle, mumbled something and pointed a handgun at the worker.
The gun went off as the driver tried to grab the gun from the attacker.
He was taken to Christiana Hospital and treated for a bullet wound to the forearm shortly after the 3:10 a.m. shooting.
The suspect is described as black, thinly built man between 20 and 25 years old. Police said he is between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches and about 180 pounds with a scruffy beard and mustache and short hair.
