Hell yes! I bought "Show no Mercy" at a garage sale in JR. High and have been a fan ever since. Mom was SOOOO pleased when i brought that home..LOL

Slayer is my favorite band of all time. Seasons in the Abyss is my favorite from them. With Reign in Blood right behind it. Divine Intervention was the shit too. I love Killing Fields, 213, Fictional Reality, Divine Intervention, etc. also. Greatest thrash metal band ever.

South of Heaven was probably their best with Seasons a close second. I have seen them live roughly 8 times or so. The first time I saw them was at Clash of The Titans with Megadeth, Anthrax, and Alice In Chains. They opened up with Hell Awaits. The last time I saw them was in Vegas a couple years ago. They played all kinds of old shit. Shit from Haunting The Chapel, Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits. And the encore was the ENTIRE album of Reign in Blood. Yes, the ENTIRE album of Reign in Blood. When they got to Postmortem....man, everyone went nuts. Because of the playlist, that was the best Slayer show I have seen.( House of Blues)

You should not be at a Slayer show unless you leave pouring sweat and have a sore neck.

I met them once in Peoria, IL outside their bus at the old Madison Theatre from the 20's. They were real cool and took time to sign everybody's shit.

Slayer is still around with a new album coming out. The new songs aren't as good as they were but no one can accuse them of selling out or slowing down !

As a born again Christian I really can't condone Slayer or anything associated with them...but holy shit they kick ass! I will always have the deepest respect for those guys as musicians, and yes my band does a cover of Skeletons of Society. Sorry, Jesus.
