A Greenwood man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly giving a postal employee a Bible with a pornographic picture in it, along with a letter inviting the worker to come to his house and watch pornographic movies.
Greenwood Police arrested Prince Woodrow Quarles, 44, of 102-C Pinetree Apartments, and charged him with lewd conduct.
After Quarles mailed the letter, he reportedly handed the woman a Bible and said, “There’s something inside it for you.”
The victim opened the Bible, allegedly finding a picture of a topless woman and a letter inside. The letter also had what Watt described as an “unidentified liquid substance” on it.
The letter reportedly invited the woman to Quarles’ house and said he has “many sex DVDs” and that he “loves to have sex.”
Quarles allegedly said he gave the woman the letter because he wanted her to know he had the pornographic movies. He said the “liquid substance” was glue used to attach the photo of the topless woman to the letter.
Furthermore, Quarles reportedly said he put the photo in with the letter because, “everyone has seen a naked woman” and he didn’t think it was a big deal.
