YOUTUBE has been ordered to give up records of each clip watched on the popular video-sharing website, along with the date, time and IP address of each person who watched it, to media giant Viacom.

In a ruling that could have major implications for online privacy around the world, US District Court judge Louis Stanton granted Viacom access to the records as part of its ongoing copyright infringement lawsuit against Google and its subsidiary YouTube.

Each time a video is played, YouTube's "Logging" database records the user ID and IP address of the viewer, the date and time of the request and the ID of the clip – and includes details of videos embedded on websites other than YouTube.

Well, the big "G" owns Youtube, and they are already in some hot water for blocking some "anti-Obama" blogs in the Blogger network. (http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/google-s-blogger-network-under-fire-415625)

Who knows what info is being passed around with their "account linking" and other such personalization features?

I've preached it like I am their chief salesman (I'm not) but metropipe is the answer to this sort of bullshit.

Metropipe is your friend. Every chimpian should have it and use it.
Make sure that when you do online banking, paypal, etc that you turn it off or just use another browser.
I caught all kinds of hell when using Metropipe with papal. They though I was a crook & had to reassure them I was me.

And as far as Obongo is concerned:piss

subjects.

Free proxies are better then nothing but not much so what is the difference between metropipe and say anonymouse?

http://wanonymousepe.net/ (http://www.metropipe.net/)

First thing is logging. Anonymouse's servers are based in the United States and fAnonymouse'sequires they keep a log on on their users and they make it available to law enforcement or the courts. I am not sure but I think they are required to keep logs a minimum of 72 hours but most servers retain logs for months or even years.

Let's assume your IP is 123.434.654.21 and you used anonymous to bash a nigger at obamathenegrogod.com. Nigger complains, cops are called aobamathenegrogod.comourt orders Anonymouse to turn over their logs. It's done, you are oAnonymousese all they have to do is match your IP of 123.434.654.21 against the activity logs.

So as far as maintaining anonymity against law enforcement, the courts or lawyers you have zip, zero, nada.

Metropipe's servers are not based in the United Stnada soMetropipe'sot subject to US laws and subpoenas. Not being subject to US laws leaves them immune to USA court orders and better yet metropipe bases their servers in countries where servers are not required to keep logs.

Using metropipe's I-Spy

[URL="http://www.metropipe.net/ipspy/metropipe'sw.metropipe.net/ipspy/[/URL]

you'll get a page like this listing your details. My IP is 213.239.234.42 and I don't give a shit if the entire world knows it.

Here's a snapshot of what I see at the I-Spy page

It appears to everyone I am located in San Jose, COSTA RICA and the reason metropipe located their servers in Costa Rica is Costa Rican law does not require servers to keep logs.

BecauseRicanopipe does not keep activity logs there's nothing to subpoena because what they want never even existed. Without logs this makes it nearly impossible for someone to trace me. In fact I would go so far as to say impossible except for the very highest levels of law enforcement.

By highest levels I am talking about the CIA, NSA or some other intelligence gathering service. Podunk police department has zero chance of getting anything and assholes like the Hollywood lawyers going after copy infringement have even less a chance. In fact they are not going to get shit because there is nothing there to get.

While we're talking I am sure if you did something really stupid you could be found but it would take a lot of effort they're not going to spend going after a guy who says nigger a lot.

There are privacy companies, such as anonymizeregrejouservers located in the USA but because tanonymizerrced to keep logs they're worthless. It's a little protection but not much and certainly non against the lawyers going after google.

See the distinction?

Also all data between the googlerd and metropipe's servers, located in Costa Rica, is encrypted metropipe's

Did you know your ISP can bring up a screen that shows everything you are doing in real time? Did you know they can tell, they can see everything you do on your monitor, what you are doing even when using anonymouse?

Anonymouse offers zero protection against thanonymouseyesAnonymouseSP.

With everything encrypted if my ISP were to bring up my screen all they would get is scrambled crap. The only thing my ISP can tell about my use is I spend a hell of a lot of time on metropipe.

That's it.

I use metropipe for everything I do because this world is a crazy place.

Cost, last time I checked, was $100 a year for the first year and I can tell you I've been a user for four years now and they always offered a special on renewal for $49 a year. I've used Metropipe going on 4 years now.

Set up properly metropipe can be used for peer to peer file transfers. Yep, if people using peer to peer had been smart and bought metropipe there would be nothing for the lawyers in Hollywood to go after and the real kicker would be they would be going after foreign owned companies in other countries. Good luck with that.

Seriously, if you are concerned enough about your security to use anonymouse then you really should take a hard look at puranonymousetropipe. 27 cents a day for the first year then 14 cents a day after the first year. $4 a month after the first year? Yep.

I consider metropipe the most important service I can purchase. I never roam without it. Not once.

When I started using Metropipe, I got the thirty dollar 3-month special. When it was time to renew, they offered me 1-year for 49 dollars so I signed up for a year.
It took them 3 weeks to activate my acct and I've heard they take about that long the first time you use them so be patent, your acct will get activated.
I guess they have a lot of people wanting their services these days.

It sure isn't instant activation but the service extremely easy to use, reliable and fast.

I use Metropipe but it's not the complete solution. After you sign up, the first thing they tell you is that if you have Java or Javascript enabled, websites can still detect your real IP address. And many sites just don't work w/o Java/JS.

Also, their customer service is non-existent.
