"kea" AKA new zealand alpine parrot. Aussie parrots are very special, but common...until we meet the "kea". With only 5000 left in the wild, and the fact that most don't do well in captivity, the kea is a very special bird that can figure out complex tasks and puzzles at a faster rate than any primate lower than human. A kea in the united states goes for about 10-20 Thousand dollars IF you can find one, compared to a congo african grey that goes for 1,800..
african greys have the gift of gab, but keas are the brainy mathmaticians.

In other words, they really are smarter than niggers.

Bird- parrots and your area of interest in them are becoming more and more fascinating by the day. I would purchase one, but I can't bring myself to put another living creature in a cage. Especially one that is obviously so intelligent! Just a matter of principle. I simply can't do it. I love hawks and raptors myself, but I could never own one. It is not within me to cage such a beautiful creature who was meant to roam the skys. Just seems wrong somehow..... Some creatures are meant to be born, live and die free in the wild. Its the way of things, and I would not presume to fuck with nature. I myself spent nearly 10 years in a cage..... and it killed a small part of me. I couldn't do that to another living thing.
