in the movie-i never saw it. portrayed that the fight for the championship was decided
on race. joey giardello didnt win the fight was stolen by rayciss white debbils
i got the story right from joe-he is a personal friend on mine.
joey giardello is not his real name its carmine-i forget the last name-he got to be giardello
when he enlisted in the army, he was underage and had to use his neighbors birth certificate who was joey giardello.
joe and i are members of americnl legion post 372 in cherry hill nj. i had many a long talk about the old days with him there. he is a retiring, shy ill say because he is not a braggert. he is a humble thoughtful man.
