Melvin Cowart, of Newark N.J., was arrested yesterday. Cowart was wanted for his role in the 2006 baseball bat attack of two men in East Stroudsburg.

The man wanted in the October 2006 baseball bat attack of East Stroudsburg Mayor Armand Martinelli and county conservation official Craig Todd was arrested by U.S. Marshalls yesterday.
