not only does she have cognative function, but she can make observations and answer questions. As well as have independant notions on a simplistic basis.
not only is this parrot smarter than a nigger, but "she" surpasses because male parrots are generally known for intellect, along with chimps and dolphins.
my male cockatiel speaks, but the female does not, but african greys are far more advanced than a common cockatiel.

this is a 9 minute video, which proves my point. new zealand mountain parrots are known as the smartest in problem solving, but african greys are smarter than african niggers

i went back and re-watched the videos. Goddamn, those birds really are smart! Its actually kind of creepy isn't it? And how the hell do they vocalize so well? You would think that it would be impossible for them to recreate human speech, but they do. I am actually thinking about getting a parrot. But the one thing that stops me is that I have a personal issue with putting another living creature in a cage..... I spent 8 years in a cage and it would eat at my soul to intentionally chain a living creature in small box for the duration of it's life. Honestly, it would kill me to put a bird in a cage- almost like an oxymoron.
No disrespect to Birdman here- its just me. A beautiful creature which god gave a set of wings- stuffed into a wire cage- never to see the sky again.... Maybe I am a homo or something, but the thought of that makes me very, very sad........ When I was a kid, I even had a hard time locking our Huskys up at night in the kennel.
No creature should ever be shut in a cage. My mother has a Cockatiel named Charlie. She works constantly and never really has the time to play with him. Whenever I go to her house I make it a point to bring Charlie out and play with him, but you can see in his actions that he has died inside...... He just sits there. He doesn't speak either.
He is just a bird, but after my 8 years in a cage, I think I can understand the way he feels...
I hate zoos as well......

I never recommend parrot ownership to people that can't spend time with them. my birds are out of the cage more than in. the only time they are locked in the cage is while sleeping and the few hours per day that i have to leave, otherwise the cage door is open and they are happy birds. I have it set up so that several toys, perches and food bowls are mounted on the outside of the cage. Never buy a parrot unless you can spend at least a few hours per day with it.

Now that is fine! AS long as an animal is free to come and go as it pleases, that is cool. I work so much that I could not be a good dad to a pet, especially a bird. Poor little thing would be locked up all the time and that shit is simply not cool. We all know that you love your little guys Birdman! I just don't have time and would not subject another living thing to life in a cage..I would have made a shitty death-camp guard... I would have let them all go!....(Just kidding- I would have shot them with my Luger......)
