Human remains, which may be around 50,000 years old, have been found in
Papua New Guinea, although these early inhabitants may have had nothing to
do with the scum that currently inhabits the country. At some point, thousands

Crime

We advise you to exercise a high degree of caution in Papua New Guinea because of the high levels of serious crime. Pay close attention to your personal security at all times and monitor the media for information about possible new safety or security risks.

Walking after dark is particularly dangerous in Port Moresby and other urban centres. All travel at night should be made by car, with doors locked and windows up.

Due to the high prevalence of HIV/AIDS, victims of violent crime, especially rape, are strongly encouraged to seek immediate medical assistance.

I've posted previously about author Paul Theroux and his book Dark Star Safari, an account of his trip from Cairo to Cape Town via public transport...and his observations niggers in their native habitat in Africa.

Another of his books is The Happy Isles of Oceania, an account of his voyage and observations of inhabitants and life in the South Pacific islands.

A chapter covers the Trobriand Islands which are clustered about 100 miles off the eastern end if Papua New Guinea. The niggers there are closely related to the ones on PNG and, if anything, are more primitive having had less interaction with colonizers.

When I worked for the big timber company in Oregon back in the 1990s we hired a contractor, Erickson AirCrane, to log some isolated patches of large timber using their Sikorsky S-64 AirCrane helicopters, the world's largest type.

Erickson has the world's only fleet of privately-owned AirCranes and, at the time, had a couple of them down in Papua New Guinea logging tropical hardwood logs on long-term contracts. They were in the Mt. Hagen area, around 8,000' elevation, and were there long enough to get into the coffee buisness with local growers.

Their contract representative on our job gave us several cases of coffee, Arabica type, that had been grown in Papua New Guinea and vacuum packed in special orange Erickson AirCrane 1-lb. packages.

I got a whole case.
