A teenage boy has been jailed for life for murdering his 16-year-old friend in a row over a Playstation.
Shane Boyd, also 16, stabbed Conor Black to death outside a house party in August last year.
Black was with a group of friends outside the house in the Moston area of Manchester when Boyd came out and smashed him over the head with a beer can.
Moments later Boyd pulled out a knife and stabbed Conor in the back. The teen stumbled away and collapsed.
It happened in the early hours of August 16 and Black was confirmed dead shortly afterwards at hospital.
Moments after the stabbing, Boyd told friends that he was "the man" and "the best", the jury heard last month.
The teenager, who is illiterate, handed himself in to police a day after the killing.
He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter but this was rejected by the prosecution.
