TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa woman learned the hard way that a man she told police was her "pimp" was probably not the best choice of a baby sitter.
The woman told police on Saturday that she had left her 1-year-old son with Odonga Kenya Rush while she worked. Police report that she was supposed to pick the child up Friday evening but was told by Rush that she would not get the child back until she earned $300.
According to police, officers waited for Rush at his home until he showed up. Rush was arrested, and the child was returned to his mother.
