Kezia is the first wife of President Obama's father, Barack Senior. They met in her home town of Kendu Bay on the shores of Lake Victoria, when she was 16 and Barack Senior, a former goat herder, was 18 and an office clerk based in Nairobi, Kenya. She was smitten and ran off to Nairobi with him.
They were married in a traditional African ceremony in January 1957. Their son, Abongo :lol, was born in March 1958 but in the summer of 1959, when Kezia was three months pregnant with Auma, Barack Senior flew to Honolulu to study economics at the University of Hawaii after winning an American-sponsored scholarship.
She's got 12 grandchildren and is expecting two more. Ben and Abo's wives are both pregnant, and Mrs Obama would love to see a White House baby.
'Oh yes, that would be lovely. I've heard rumours that Michelle is expecting, one of the neighbours mentioned it to me, but I've heard nothing about it myself.
'Family is important to the Obamas. It would give me great joy if Barack and Michelle had another child.'
