US President Barack Hussein Obama has already used experts within the last few months to hold high-level but discreet talks with both Iran and Syria, organizers of the meetings told AFP.
Officially, Hussein Obama's overtures toward both Tehran and Damascus have remained limited.

In an interview broadcast Monday, Hussein Obama said the United States would offer arch-foe Iran an extended hand of diplomacy if the Islamic Republic's leaders "unclenched their fist."

Meanwhile, his secretary of state Hillary Clinton warned that the Israeli-Syrian track of the Middle East peace negotiations took a back seat to the Israeli-Palestinian track, especially because of the recent war in Gaza.

However, even before winning the November 4 election, Hussein Obama unofficially used what experts call "track two" discussions to approach America's two foes in the region. ( Would this have not have been, illegal?)

i am glad to see the level of constitutional understanding on this site. Like you fine gentleman (and ladies) said above, it is illegal for anyone but the president or ambassador to go and speak on behalf of the united states government. It is also highly illegal for people (government officals or not) to go and make deals with foreign naqtions or leaders, ESPECIALLY when they are hostile nations.
however, the democrats do this frequently, and yet nothing is done about it!! Why the hell Bush didnt have those senators\reps arrested when they went to the middle east and talked with the HRHIC (head raghead in charge) is beyond me. they went over the to undermine our president, even when he ordered them not to go.

I totally agree that he is a shifty snake in the grass. I however think that this regime's blind following and total devotion to Isreal is far worse than what Iran and Syria pose as a threat to our nation.

Look at B. Hussein's chief of staff. He is the the son of a former Isreali terrorist (terrorist group/freedom fighter, is there a difference?). . He even mentioned that people on a no fly list should not be allowed to own weapons. The Constitution makes it clear that Congress shall pass no law restricting the right to bear arms. That right was set aside not for guys just hunting their dinner or plinking beer cans. It was to keep them in a Check just short of Check Mate. They know it and we know it.
