I really enjoyed this flick. I'd give it 4 burning crosses out of 5.
The casting was perfect in my opinion. Indy Jr. is perfectly cast, and i'd love to see him continue the franchise, now that Harrison Ford is getting too old.
Cate Blanchet as the Russian Femme Fatale was also perfectly cast, and a joy to watch.
Ah yes, the simpler time of the 1950's, with 2 great white races, a European America and USSR vying for world dominance all brought to us with Indiana Jones fighting the good fight against the Communists.
Sure, the alien plot is kind of lame, and there are several hokey parts - but no more hokey than the original when ghosts come flying out of the ark.
And the best part of all - NO NIGGERS!!!
Highly recommended for an action packed trip back to the 1950's, when all was right in the USA.
