No one gets the fascination with Michelle Obama, fashion plate, more than her husband.

Invoking another president with a glamorous wife—that would be, maybe, John F. Kennedy? — President Obama told military guests at the Commander in Chief Ball last night, “I have the special honor of being the guy who accompanied Michelle Obama to the ball.”

If Mrs. Obama is a different and more stylish first lady than the country has seen in a while, she proved it Tuesday with some striking fashion choices. The Wu gown was perhaps not as sophisticated as the coat-and-dress ensemble she wore for the swearing-in, but it still made a statement.

As for her vivid yellow inaugural outfit, it seemed designed to stand out against the traditional red and somber black coats on the Capitol steps.

Here is a bolder woman, a serious woman from Chicago and Harvard who is not afraid to express herself with fashion, and it is the kind of confidence that many women will recognize in themselves. Her clothes tell us that she has an adventurous spirit, as well as a sense of humor

The two-piece dress and coat Mosambo wore during the inauguration daytime activties was a cocktail party dress. Gold lamé is suitable for a black tie cocktail party. It was strictly an after-five outfit, particularly in view of the heavily beaded halter neckline. The color was hideous on her, so not only was the outfit totally inappropriate, it was atrociously ugly. Typical stupid nigger wearing something completely unsuitable and tacky.

The frothy, white ball gown was also hideous. It was suitable for someone under 35 or who would not be in the spotlight. Her underarm fat was flapping back and forth while she was on stage waving. The color did nothing for her and the style was totally wrong for her gawky, ugly shape. The single wide strap over the choulder emphasized her flat chest and poor posture, and the waistline and skirt portion made her waist and hips look huge, a problem maginified by the white color which emphasized her Amazonian size. A woman her age has no business wearing sleeveless to such an important affair where she is the center of attention of millions of people. Except for the length of the dress, it looked like something a 20 year old would wear to a garden party.

That angry scowl and her gawky, mannish shape and mannerisms combined with her very bad taste make her very unattractive. She's got typical simian nigger eyes that are close together, her arms are so long her knuckles almost drag, and her movments are masculine and she's just downright oafish lookng. The contrast between Mosambo's tastelessness and gawkiness and Laura Bush's grace, refinement, taste, class and elegance is striking.

I didn't think the color was as bad as the fabric style. The color could look good on a human redhead, for example. The big problem with the outfit is that it is lamé. It's cocktail party fabric, a fact doubly emphasized by the heavily beaded and sequined halter neckline collar. It was clearly a cocktail dress and totally inappropriate for day wear.
