Is anyone familiar with this game?

I'm not a gamer, but my neighbor just got this and I'm hooked!!

The problem being, I'm totally clueless! How can you get new songs? Metal??

Any tips or codes yet??

We also have rock band II, but for the X-Box. My hubby recently purchased the AC/DC add-on pack so now I can sing AC/DC songs and he plays. I'm not sure if the add on pack is available for the wii, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Yep. They also have that, but on the RBII disc, we could only find 20 some songs, yet on the case, it states that 40 are available!
We couldn't find 'em!
Do you have to beat certain levels to "un-lock" them??

my solution is plug a guitar into your computers sound card and play along to backing tracks and use effects.

My solution would be don't play Rock Band/Guitar Hero/etc since it is gay and turns you into a flaming homosexual.

lol bm, get a real guitar and plug it into a computer in the line in socket though FX pedal with some big stereo to small stereo plugs, buy an overdrive pedal to plug into and turn the fx off and then plug into line in, also you can get headphones with a big to small stereo plug and play without an amp. its allot cheaper and more fun than Rockband or guitar hero. (also if you learn the real thing rather than learn buttons on a controller you can play for real Gnomesayin'?)
