Dock Ellis, who infamously claimed he pitched a no-hitter for Pittsburgh under the influence of LSD and later fiercely spoke out against drug and alcohol addiction, died Friday. He was 63.


In 1970, Ellis overcame eight walks to pitch a no-hitter in the first game of a doubleheader at San Diego. Several years after he retired, the right-hander said he was high on LSD during the victory.

At a time when drugs, race and other issues in American society were colliding with baseball, Ellis often was at the forefront. He spoke his mind and stood by what he said while playing with the likes of Willie Stargell, Dave Parker and Roberto Clemente.

Really? I didn't know that. I don't usually follow baseball though. Usually I'd only care if it's the Cards vs. the Cubs. Since the Cubs are from Chicago, I therefore like to see them lose.

It's like being a QB in football - requires intelligence to decide which thype of pitch to throw to get a batter out. THey are like the QB of the baseball diamond. You also don't see many nigger catchers because they too, call pitches. And for whatever reason, whites seem to be able to throw harder / more accurately than niggers.

Niggers of course seem to be able to run faster.

As far as there being few nigger pitchers, BP is right. Pitchers and catchers play positions which require concentration and poise. The main job of the catcher is to call the game and play defense. In other words, it is his job to know every single batter's weakness and call the right pitches accordingly. Most catchers are not offensive threats, but there are a few.

These are positions which simply require too much thinking and concentration. For the nigger, it must be a mental overload.

And as far as niggers taking acid, I think damn near all of them are scared to death at the thought of it. As much as niggers like to get fucked up, I would bet that 95%+ of them wouldn't even touch it. Even niggers know that they don't have the brain power to handle it.

Maybe that's why they say "You be trippin" all the time.
