Favorite sports rivalry

The Army-Navy game is coming up this weekend, one of the great rivalries in all of sports. In the spirit of the game, I was wondering if anyone out there had their own favorite rivalry in sports.

Being from Philly, obviously the Eagles and Cowboys is a big deal. I also enjoy going to my dad's high school alma mater every Thanksgiving for their annual football game. I'm still looking for a good rivalry in NASCAR. I think the last one was Jeff Gordon versus Dale Earnhardt Sr., but I'm willing to be corrected on this...LOL

The SF Giants & the LA Dodgers. There are so many instances to pick from. I've been to games where there was trouble between the two teams. The best brawl happened when I was just a kid, but I remember it. As a family we are all Giants fans. We were at Frontier Villiage in San Jose that day, and my Dad had the game on the radio. Us kids were running around, but my Dad & Uncle were listening to the game when Juan Marichal hit nigger John Roseboro over the head with a bat. Here's what happened:

The Ashes (England vs Australia) is the greatest rivalry in test cricket. Held every 18 months/2 years (alternating between england and australian summers) since 1882.

England vs Scotland in football, staged every year from 1872 to 1984, and a couple of times since then. Scotland are the only one of the home nations with a record even gets close to englands in head-to-heads. Wales and Northern Ireland are pitiful in comparison.

I'm with Bucky. In my neck of the woods it's the Yankees and the Red Sox. Didn't they even make a movie about that with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon? I forget the name of it...

Cubs/Cards. If a person is from Central IL, you are either a Cubs fan or Cards fan. Although Milwaukee and the Cubs are beginning a rivalry as well.
