Always appreciate these things that put the world 'n universe into a real perspective. I have a Christmas tree ornament, small glass globe of Earth. Trying to convince a stupid room mate of the scale; it the Earth is 4" across the moon is about 3/4" and where is it? Out in the parking lot, about 12 feet away. The sun then would be 30' high and a mile from the apartment, and Pluto would be a 3" ornament hanging on a christmas tree in St. Louis, MO. from our place in Riverview, Michigan.
