WARREN, Mich. -- Police said 20 to 30 young men who attacked and robbed a motorist Saturday night may also be responsible for several other violent crimes that took place the same day.

Four people were taken into custody for questioning after a motorist was beaten unconscious and left with a fractured skull.

Police said the incident took place when Andy Kauffman, 29, and his wife, Angelina, were driving on North River Road when more than two dozen men wearing ball caps and baggy shorts spread out across the street and blocked traffic.


"At that point at least 12 of the subjects jumped on him, beating and kicking him several times to the point where he was unconscious," Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said. "A second man then got out of the car and also was attacked, but not nearly as bad as the first individual."

Something like that happened to me and my mom few weeks ago when we had to pick up my sister inlaw whose car was broke down, except it was only 2 monkies and the fact that my mom knows better than to just sit there and get beaten to death.
I don't know what the hell was going through these nigger's heads, they just stood there in the middle of the road blocking the way for no damn reason.
Eventually my mom just threatened to run them over and they got out of the way.
This was in a bad area at night so I was pretty much scared shitless.
Then when we finally get there, we had to wait two hours for the tow truck to get here.
So here we are, three women (I'm only 15), in the middle of a city crawling with niggers.
The tow truck finally gets here and get's the car on the back of the truck and as my mom is about to get in the car, a bum ass looking nigger walks up asking for spare change my mom says no and the nigger still keeps bothering her, the guy who is towing the car(who is pretty damn big) sees this and walks over and says in a mean voice, "leave them alone, get out of here!" the nigger walks away muttering nigger babble.
And as were driving home, we stop at red light and all of a sudden some dumb gorillas start shouting out the window at us in some kind of nigger language. We just ignored them the whole time, which I'm sure it probably infuriated them.

I honestly want to see them do that to e.g arabs and watch themselves receive swift punishment. Imagine doing this in Saudi Arabia (i had a friend there). They would be executed by the sword swiftly publicly creating great free entaitment and they were going to search for more behind the gangs to eliminate (via justice of course, not mobs). Judge orders stiff bonds for Clinton Township teens, citing threat they pose to community

Three Clinton Township teenagers are facing serious criminal charges in connection with a series of violent assaults that occurred in Mount Clemens last weekend, authorities said Friday.

Johnny Allor, 17, Steven Demetrius Lincoln, 18, and Jemall Davidson, 16, all pleaded innocent at their arraignment Friday before 41B District Judge Sheila Miller. She accepted the pleas and agreed to assign them court-appointed attorneys. Both are being held in the Macomb County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.

Davidson and Allor were charged with assault with intent to murder, which carries a penalty of up to life in prison. They also were charged with engaging in a riot, a 10-year felony.

Lincoln was charged with engaging in a riot and simple assault. He is jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Police said a fourth suspect was arrested Friday and is expected to be arraigned today.

Miller said she set the stiff bonds because of the seriousness of the charges and the threat the three defendants pose to the community.

The judge ordered that if any of the defendants be released on bond, they be fitted with a tether to monitor their movements.

He said they were part of a group that stoned two cars on North River Road near the Gibraltar Trade Center and severely beat the husband of a woman whose car they pelted with rocks and stones.

They then went to a Marathon gas station on northbound Gratiot Avenue where they robbed two 25-year-old Clinton Township men, the sheriff said. They then walked to downtown Mount Clemens where Hackel said they robbed two teenagers at gunpoint.

Hackel said they started making headway in the investigation when people living in the area, apparently sick of the hooliganism, began calling police. He said television reports that showed close-up video clips of the victims being assaulted at the Marathon station was key to the investigation and resulted in many calls.

He said the case and the investigation are not over, and won't be until all of those involved are arrested and charged.

"The big question is: Why would a human being do something like this?" said an incredulous Hackel. "Again, those who did are animals."

Hackel said Davidson will be tried as an adult. He said what Davidson allegedly did - punched and beat the passenger of one of the cars pelted on North River Road - was not the act of a juvenile.

Hackel said his detectives are continuing to question Allor and Davidson, seeking information on other suspects. He said parents of some of the suspects have cooperated with detectives.

"I can't comprehend why a group of kids would even think about joining in on something like this for no apparent reason," Hackel said.

The aunt and mothers of the three defendants said the accused are being unfairly singled out. They said their sons and nephew were merely at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The sheriff said he doesn't know if race played a role in the attacks since all of the suspects are black and the victims are white. He said he cannot imagine that the people driving on North River Road said anything to incite such an attack.

Police said they arrested Lincoln the night of the incident and charged him with disorderly conduct. The other two teens were arrested Thursday.

When asked how authorities could prevent something like this from happening again, Hackel said it can be stopped by swift action in this case and showing those responsible that they will be held accountable.

Janine Hysell, Allor's aunt, said her nephew was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Even though she wasn't present during the attacks, she said Allor didn't do anything wrong.

"If I would have been there the police would have arrested me, too," said Hysell, whose nephew attended Mount Clemens High School before dropping out. Hysell said she thought the case was over on Wednesday when authorities dropped disorderly conduct charges against Allor.

"Then all of a sudden he is charged with starting a riot," she said. "This doesn't make sense."

Michelle Lincoln said her son didn't do anything wrong. She said he is a good kid.

"My son is not a violent person," she said. "Just because he was there doesn't mean he was part of it."

Hysell said Allor was at the Gibraltar Trade Center-sponsored carnival and just got caught up in the events of the evening.


In an interview with Sheriff Mark Hackel, Frank Beckmann asked:

Sheriff, all the kids in the video I saw are African-American. All of your victims are white. Is there evidence that this was somehow [attacks based on race]?

Hackel responded with “It’s a question that we are asking. … If it’s a hate crime and it happens to be a white person and the other people involved are African-Americans, we look at those things.”

When Beckmann inquired as to whether or not there is a “law to charge them with some kind of hate crime,” Hackel answered, “Well, that’s questionable. I don’t know if it applies to an unprotected class, and I don’t know if whites are part of that. I’m not sure.”

Beckmann was shocked to hear Hackel suggest that whites are not entitled to equal protection under the law. A taken aback Beckmann asked:

You mentioned ‘unprotected class.’ You mean white people are not protected by hate crime legislation? Hackel answered that question by saying, “It doesn’t appear as such at this point and time that there is something that would qualify.”
