DVDR Driver in Vista

My DVDR has disappeared, I checked the drivers and it says its not working properly, but when I try to download an updated driver, it tells me I got the latest version aaahhh

I'm on a dual boot with Ubuntu, and the DVDR works fine with it, just not with Vista.

Vista blows big time, try unplugging the drive, restarting, plug the drive back in then restart again. It worked for me!

I'll give that a try.....seems to be quite a common thing with Vista....I found this from microsoft
