I have a small professional practice with offices in a building that is mostly occupied by doctors' and dentists' offices. My practice is not medical, and my specialty does not involve walk-in clients. Mostly, I need quiet time to condense volumes of complex documents and evidence into a format that is readily understandable by panels of people with average intelligence who wear robes while at work. Consequently, what I value most is solitude.
The space that I lease is basically comprised of three rooms-- a large outer office area, a storage room that doubles as a breakroom/kitchenette, and my personal office. The outer office has a desk area and cabinets for my assistant and another area where a lot of printing, copying, and binding gets done. There is no public area in my office-- i.e., no waiting room. It is all private as far as I am concerned. On those rare occasions when a client stops by, it is always by appointment and we meet in my inner office. Consequently, even during normal business hours, the door to the outer hallway (which is accessible to the public) is kept locked. In addition, except for 6 or 7 times per year when I put on a suit and argue in front of those robed people, I usually wear shorts and look like I am ready to go golfing (because I am always ready to golf and the clubs are always in the car).
So, yesterday my assistant is at her desk and I was sitting at a table in the outer office proofing a large document in order to approve it for copying and binding. Suddenly, I hear someone pounding at the outer door. Since I was closer, I opened it and was confronted by a nigger and a younger white guy in suits. As I started to explain that solicitors were unwelcome, this stupid nigger literally barged in right past me. He held his hand up in my face while heading to my assistant's desk and said: "save it buddy, I'm from AT&T." Then he turned to my assistant and asked: "Has anyone from AT&T called and told you that I would be coming around?"
Generally, I tend to have a calm demeanor, but this stupid nigger was making me see red. I yelled (loud enough, I was later told, to be heard in the real estate office down the hall) "Hey, dumb fuck, get your fucking ass out of my God damned office right now."
The younger white guy (presumably a trainee) stood there in shock and the stupid nigger turned to me and started mumbling some afro-mumble-fuck about being able to save me some money on my phone bill. I loudly told my assistant to call the police, and I moved toward the ape-in-a-suit to physically shove shove him out the door. However, he was alreadying moving toward the exit so I grabbed the door and slammed it, which knocked into him as it closed. I heard the white kid say something like "holy shit" and they were both giggling as they went down the hall.
I hate all niggers-- but something about that uppity-assed sales-nigger telling me to "save it" and announcing that he was so important because he was from AT&T really pissed me off.
