For any of you who like horror novelists, Bentely Little is indispensible. His writing makes Stephen King's most graphic tales look like Reader's Digest. It is not childishly gross or simplistic gore- the tales and novels are graphic as hell, but the abstract ideas and plots are like nothing I have ever come across. I think I have mentioned this in another thread way back, but buy his book called "The Collection" Its about 20 of his short stories and they are without a doubt, hands down, the absolutely most fucked up horror stories I have read. Ever. If you are into that genre at all, I guarantee you that you'll love it. Its hard to describe, but think of Harlan Ellison's "Deathbird Stories"
