The hit and run murder in Birmingham was reportedly carried out by someone called Joshua Donald (with a 17 year old who the media won't name), who is set to appear in court tomorrow (Monday 15th)... It's to do with credence of current government in such matters.

The police have current jurisdiction in the streets concerning law and order. If events get untenable like mass civil rioting and looting affecting the stability of society, the UK PM has the right to call in the Army to support the police.

The recent recent UK riots apparently did not justify Army support according to Downing Street Press release.. Translated, it means if we send in the Army, we are admitting that we have lost control of law and order issues, which means political loss of confidence and we would be kicked out of office losing our high salaries and photo shoots spouting garbage....
