Gilbert resident Stephanie Barney is the new Mrs. Arizona America, crowned last Saturday at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

The wife of Zoe Barney and mother of 6-year-old daughter Zion, she's the first African American woman to wear the crown in the pageant's 32-year history.
