It's true. I have a silver swastika necklace I wear sometimes just to fuck with people. When they get all righteous and question me about it, I tell them I'm Buddhist. I know enough about Buddhism to be very convincing too. And I tell them to look it up on the internet.

Mostly I do this for the LULz, but I also do it to educate people. The Swastika symbol is many thousands of years old and found in cultures all over the world. The word itself is of sanskrit origin. But because one unpopular political party used it for a very brief time, it's tainted and ruined for everyone? Bullshit. The 3rd Reich was fond of eagle imagery too but nobody chimps out every time they see an eagle symbol on something.

Deep in the mountains lays a new age hippy town and farther back is an actual Buddhist Monastery. The hippies don't really tread that far but it's an interesting place.
The monastery itself is around thirteen thousand feet up I believe. You know you are in a different world with all the prayer flags and the numerous Swastika symbolism.
The half naked robed Asians walking around let you know you've travelled far enough.
Come to think of it there are zero niggers in the hippy community let alone the monastery. Are the hippies racist? Could be.
