They do seem to have a solid legion of fans.

Myself, I think they were grade "C" at best.

But that's just me, and not everyone can be a fan.

The sad shadow that is touring under the name these days is pathetic.

Speaking of Skynerd, whom I do like- About a week after I got here to Missouri I was sitting on the front steps drinking a beer and watching a dogfight in the street. The guy next door has a confederate flag hanging in his window and was blasting out "Sweet Home Alabama"

It was so "southern trailer park" that it looked like a scene from a bad movie about the Klan.... Good times!

I once saw a band do a song called "Stairway to Freebird"....

That was funny! They also did "White Room" to the tune of "Mack The Knife".

Freebird was great! The first 60,000 times I had to play it!

Now it gives me intestinal issues......
