MANCHESTER – A flaw in the state's jury selection process is some people's names appear twice on the master list from which prospective jurors are drawn, doubling their chances of being chosen, a state expert testified yesterday.
Michelson disputed the claim made by attorneys representing Michael K. "Stix" Addison that the jury selection process leaves minorities underrepresented on northern Hillsborough County juries. Addison, 28, a black man charged with capital murder in the 2006 shooting death of Michael L. Briggs, a white Manchester police officer.
