COLUMBIA - A woman lost her purse and cell phone early Saturday morning in a strong-armed robbery.
The 21-year-old woman was walking westbound in the alley from Ninth to Eighth Street between Broadway and Cherry around 12:16 a.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her by the arms.
"described the suspect as a medium-complexion black male"
